Maity Interiano surprises by appearing on Telemundo after leaving Univision
Maity Interiano returned to television this Tuesday, but she did so with 'Hoy Dia' and Telemundo after 17 years as a Univision talent
Presenter Maity Interiano, who left Univision in December 2014 after 17 years, surprised her fans this Tuesday morning when she stepped onto a Telemundo set for the first time.
The renowned journalist, who is currently pregnant with her second child, She was a guest on 'Hoy Dia,' where she reunited with some old acquaintances, such as Carlos Calderon, with whom she had the opportunity to work in the past at Univision and on 'Despierta America.' Through a post she made herself on Instagram, the host shared her excitement about this new opportunity to reappear on screen and do so on one of the most-watched morning shows. "First time visiting @telemundo ?Thank you to @hoydia for the invitation and for such a warm welcome," reads a fragment of the text that Maity included with her photo.
She then highlighted how much fun she had on the morning show set and how much she enjoyed the company of some of her former Univision colleagues.
“What a joy to be back sharing with great friends, hugging people who have been part of my journey, and reconnecting with so many familiar faces. And yes… also showing you how this baby keeps growing ?,” Maity posted.
The former 'Despierta America' host, who currently has her own podcast, concluded her message with some motivational words about what life has in store for her.
“Today reminded me that life is full of opportunities when we are willing to reinvent ourselves, to say yes, even in new, challenging, and profoundly transformative stages. We keep going. With gratitude, with enthusiasm, and with a lot of faith,” she concluded.
Her return to television was not only celebrated by her fans and the Telemundo talent, but her former Univision colleagues also joined in. They echoed her temporary return to the screen.
