Michael B Jordan takes home the Oscar for Best Actor for the film 'Sinners'
The Oscar winner doesn't forget God in his victory.
“God is good,” said Michael B. Jordan upon receiving his first Oscar, in the Best Actor category, for his role in the film “Sinners.” The actor brought two characters to life in this project, “Smoke” and “Stack.” This is the first nomination for the star of the 2015 film “Creed.”
“I'm here for all those who came before me, Denzel Washington… Will Smith,” said Jordan, paying tribute to those who deserve it.
From the moment the nomination was announced, B. Jordan became one of the top contenders in this category. In the press room at the Academy Awards ceremony, Michael's win received a standing ovation from the specialized press.
