Selena Gomez and Becky G have scored a new achievement in the music scene by adding their talent for the song Te Olvido (La La), which was produced by Benny Blanco and is part of his Latin pop album titled Hermoso.

The 12-time Grammy-nominated artist, composer and producer presented his new single through platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, marking the beginning of a new era where Latin rhythms are the protagonists.

And the song Te Olvido (La La) is a mix of cumbia and pop alongside two of the most acclaimed stars of this era.

According to a statement, the song starring Selena Gomez and Becky G is driven by the unmistakable rhythm of cumbia, completely embracing the essence of the genre without leaving aside Benny Blanco's instinct for pop melodies.

Accompanied by this catchy rhythm, the artists sing: Tell me if we are or not so I decide if I love you or forget you.

The song was released in conjunction with a music video that, less than 24 hours after being released, already has 500,000 views on YouTube.

This audiovisual was directed by STILLZ and produced by Estevan Oriol, delving into the Chicano culture of Los Angeles through lowriders, neighborhood street parties and unmistakable symbols of Mexican pride.

As if that were not enough, the video for Te Olvido (La La) features the special participation of Mexican-American actor Danny Trejo, who nods to his iconic 'Machete' character with a fun twist: fighting a piñata. Likewise, a cameo by Mexican-American skateboarder Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod) stands out.

According to producer Benny Blanco, this audiovisual material works as another entry into the universe of his next album, Hermoso. Let us remember that this song comes just a few weeks after Joven Y Salvaje, a collaboration with Bb trickz that is proof of the broad musical landscape in this proposal.
