After several weeks away from the spotlight, singer Susana Zabaleta has reappeared on social media with a public complaint that has set off alarm bells among her followers, as what happened would have violated her safety.

Through a short video shared from her official Instagram account, the celebrity revealed that she was the victim of a home robbery while she was out of the country. According to the singer, this outrage would have been committed by means of extortion of her domestic employee.

“I am enjoying my vacation, as I always do in October, but about half an hour ago someone strange sent me a message, it seemed strange to me, I called my house and they extorted the girl who works in my house to take all the valuables,” said Zabaleta, still from the tourist destination she chose for her vacation, Australia.

Although the artist did not share more details about the incident, she mentioned that this is not the first time she has been a victim of insecurity in Mexico, so she urged her digital community not to let their guard down and remain alert to the current situation in the country.

“They have broken into my house to steal, they have robbed me on the street, they have extorted me on the street, it has happened to me so many times in my life that it seems that one never stops paying and paying and paying and paying, like when someone robs you, you say 'yes', but this keeps going and going," she lamented.

Another detail that Susana Zabaleta kept out of her statement was whether she would go and file a complaint with the authorities so they could take action on the matter.

However, hours later the SSC confirmed that they were already aware of the robbery at the star's house, located in the Alvaro Obregon borough, and assured that they had begun the corresponding investigations.
