We traveled to Mexico to spend time with the protagonists of “Dinastia Casillas” and see them in action. We share with Ivan Arana, Maria Fernanda Yepes, Wendy de los Cobos, Plutarco Haza, Jose Ponce and Isabella Castillo.

Laying the foundations of this story, it is valid to say that the universe of “El Senor de los Cielos” expands with “Dinastia Casillas”.

Fans of the action genre will be pleased with this “spin-off”. The action drama is a narrative that Telemundo has managed to work with productions such as “La Reina del Sur”, “Falsa Identidad”, “La Jefa” and “Senora Acero”.

“El Chema” with Mauricio Ochmann also allowed fans to know an alternate story to the one told with Aurelio Casillas, through the actor Rafael Amaya. Now it's Ivan Arana's turn, as Ismael Casillas, to sustain this narrative.

All of the actors who make up this story are so ingrained in the character that they perfectly understand its evolution and the reason why they now find themselves in a very obvious situation: the transition of power.

The production also made excellent decisions, arranging the return of “El Ingeniero” in the skin of Plutarco Haza and the return to life of “El Chacorta” -Victor Casillas- played by Raul Mendez.

“Dinastia Casillas” also brings us endearing characters that sustain the drama and action between the good and the bad with Wendy de los Cobos as “La Tata” and Jose David Ponce as “El Skiny”. But how long will its characters continue to survive in a series so full of loss?

The question is valid, and we discussed the relevance and significance of its characters.

These stories have strong doses of the social reality experienced in Latin American countries in terms of drug trafficking, influence, money laundering, and corruption. But the public knows the history of the villains so well that, even if they don't justify them, they appreciate the good work of the actors in creating them and working on their personalities.
