64 people got scorched due to massive fire in Durga Puja pandal in Bhadohi. A large number of devotees present in the pandal were stirred by the fire. The seriously injured have been referred to Varanasi and Prayagraj for treatment. Three children and two women died in this terrible accident in Aurai police station area . As of now, the reasons for the incident are not known.

According to the information received from the district administration, 64 people have been scorched due to fire in Durga Puja pandal in Aurai. Most of these women and children are burnt. Out of 64, 42 people have been referred to Varanasi for treatment. Out of these, 10 people have been admitted to BHU's Super Specialty Burn Emergency and 14 to BHU's Trauma Center. Apart from this, three people have been shifted to ICU of BHU.

Bhadohi's SP Anil Kumar said that around 9 o'clock in Aurai town, a fire broke out in a Durga pandal. The time when this incident happened was the time of Aarti, due to which there was a large number of people in the pandal. According to the police, the digital show was also going on in the presence of many people in the pandal. Meanwhile, a stampede broke out due to the fire. By the time the fire brigade vehicles reached the spot, the entire pandal was burnt to ashes.
