There is news of Income Tax Department's survey on the Delhi office of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). According to media reports, the BBC office has been sealed and phones of all employees have been confiscated. Employees have been asked to go home. The Income Tax Department's survey on BBC's premises has been done on the allegation of financial irregularities. This survey has been done at about 20-22 places. According to media reports, Income Tax Department teams consisting of 15-20 members reached the BBC office and started the survey. There has also been a ban on coming in and going out of the office.
