It rained for Electronic City -8 cm, City Office -4 cm, International Airport -9.6 mm and HAL Airport -5 cm. Heavy rain will occur in Bengaluru for the next 2-3 days, a yellow alert has been issued for today. Extensive rain over Coastal and North Interior Karnataka for the next 5 days, followed by three days of widespread rain over South Interior Karnataka for the next two days. 

Motorists are facing problems due to water logging on the roads. On Tuesday, many IT professionals reached the office in a tractor trolley. It has been told that due to slipping in the water accumulated on the roads, the girl Akhila along with Scooty fell near the electric pole. Akhila died due to electrocution spread from the pole. Police is probing the matter.

CM Bommai said in a discussion with reporters on Tuesday that this condition of Bengaluru has happened due to the previous Congress government. He also said that the situation has worsened due to incessant heavy rains here. Such rain has not been seen in the last 90 years. All the ponds are overflowing and overflowing. It has been raining incessantly in Karnataka, especially Bengaluru, it is happening even today. It is being said that there is a crisis in the whole of Bengaluru, while it is not so. Only two zones are in bad condition especially in Mahadevapura. 69 ponds in this small area are overflowing. The areas which are submerged are in low lying areas and there has been encroachment during the rule of the previous Congress government. 

According to Karnataka CM Bommai, during September 1 to 5, Bengaluru received 150 percent more rain than normal. Mahadevapura, Bommanahalli and KR Puram received 307 per cent more rainfall. The city's 164 lakes have become inundated. In view of the flood situation arising out of heavy rains in Bengaluru, CM Bommai canceled the program on Monday and took stock of the relief and rescue operations. 

Meanwhile, many IT professionals in India's Silicon Valley are getting new experiences. Due to waterlogging, they have to take the help of tractor trolleys to reach the office. Yamalur has submerged in water close to HAL airport. Many employees of IT companies living in the area reached their offices on Monday in trolleys. A woman IT professional troubled by the situation said, "We can't take so much leave from office, our work is getting affected. We are waiting for the tractor to drop us for Rs 50. 

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains to continue in Karnataka till September 9. This time it is raining record breaking in Bangalore. August has received the heaviest rainfall in four years. In August, it received 370 mm or about 15 inches of rain. Prior to this, the highest rainfall occurred in August 1998. Then there was a record rain of 387.1 mm. 

Kerala and Karnataka are in the grip of floods due to heavy rains these days. People's life has become busy here. Millions of people are affected by the floods. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has also issued a warning for other southern states. Monsoon rains will wreak havoc here in the coming two to three days. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain, storm and lightning in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh on September 8 and 9. Apart from this, heavy to very heavy rain warning has been issued in Kerala, Lakshadweep, Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh from September 6 to 9.
