Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ahmedabad on Monday night on a two-day visit to Gujarat. Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and BJP state president CR Patil welcomed him at the airport. During the two-day visit, PM Modi will participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit and other programs. PM Modi will hold a road show with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today.
After reaching Ahmedabad, PM Modi tweeted that he reached Ahmedabad a while ago. In the next two days, he will participate in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit and related programs. The PM said, it is a matter of great pleasure that many world leaders will participate in the summit. The arrival of my brother Mohammed bin Zayed is very special. I have a very close association with the Vibrant Gujarat Summit and I am happy to see how this platform has contributed to the development of Gujarat and created opportunities for many people.
Road show of PM Modi and UAE President today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will lead a road show outside the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport on Tuesday, a day before the inauguration of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.
Ahmedabad city Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Safin Hasan said, after welcoming the UAE President, a three-kilometre long road show will start from the airport in the evening. The road show will end at Indira Bridge. This bridge connects Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar. After this both the dignitaries will leave for their respective destinations in Gandhinagar. PM Modi will inaugurate the 10th edition of VGGS at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Center in Gandhinagar on Wednesday. During his three-day visit to Gujarat from January 8 to 10, PM Modi will also hold bilateral meetings with global leaders and CEOs of top global corporations. PM Modi will reach Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on January 9 at around 9.30 am.
Will meet global leaders
External Affairs Minister's spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal posted on Twitter that PM Narendra Modi will meet global leaders during the conference. The PM will meet with CEOs of top global corporations during the two-day visit. PM Modi will visit Gift City. Here at around 5:15 pm he will talk to business leaders at the Global Fintech Leadership Forum.
Global Conference of Vibrant Gujarat
The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) informed that the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit will be held in Gandhinagar from January 10 to 12, 2024. Its theme is ‘Gateway to the Future’. This year 34 partner countries and 16 partner organizations are participating in the conference. Additionally, the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region will use the Vibrant Gujarat platform to showcase investment opportunities in the North Eastern regions. According to the information, the Prime Minister will reach Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar at around 9:30 am on January 9, where he will hold a bilateral meeting with global leaders. After this he will hold a meeting with CEOs of top global companies.
