Vanisha Pathak, who was the topper of class 10th, has been issued a legal notice by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) asking her to pay the fine along with interest. In fact, his parents had died during Covid, who had taken a home loan of Rs 29 lakh from LIC. Vanisha had 98.8 percent marks in her board exam. Vanisha's father Jitendra Pathak had taken a loan from LIC, which had sought time from LIC to repay it, but the officials did not respond to it. However, after the death of the father, the officials had said that until Vanisha turns 18, she will not be issued any notice for payment. Despite this, LIC has said in the notice to pay fine along with interest.

Vanisha's maternal uncle said that LIC has said in the notice to recover the fine. The last notice was received on 2 February 2022 to pay Rs 29 lakh. Then Vanisha said in a letter to LIC that my father was a member of Million Dollar Round Table Club and a famous Bima Club. He said that my brother and I are minors and Covid is an orphan. So the dues can be paid only when I turn 18.
