Patna. Investors setting up textile and leather industries in Bihar will get big help from the government. These include capital grants, transport incentives for exports, employment grants, electricity duty grants and patent registration grants. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the Investors Meet cum Textile and Leather Policy 2022, told the investors that you people should start work in Bihar. From the arrangement of land to money will also be helped. He bluntly said that investors will not get more help anywhere else than Bihar. He said that through the Textile and Leather Policy, investors will get the benefit of 2.5 lakh to 80 lakh rupees per industrial unit only in electricity.

The government will also give employment grants in three categories to those setting up industries. Bihar is the first state in the country to give such a grant. In this, the government will give three thousand rupees to semi-skilled workers, four thousand to skilled and five thousand rupees to highly skilled workers for five years. Present in the auditorium and addressing the investors associated with textile and leather industries across the country in virtual mode, the CM said that I assure you that you people should set up industries in Bihar. Give suggestions, our government will give land. Will give financial help to start work. With this, the people of Bihar will also not need to go out for investment.

While reminding the investors, CM said that what you call Bihar is your old place. You guys have to take the same old place forward. He told Industries Minister Shahnawaz that you should go across the country and invite them for investment. He also mentioned about his proposed visit to Mumbai. He said that we have started production in ethanol. We have told the Center that there is no need to ban it. And once the proposals are approved, more production will increase here. With this, Bihar will become the number one state in ethanol production. The matter has also been discussed with the Home Minister.

The Chief Minister said that under the Minority Employment Scheme in Bihar, instead of five lakh rupees, a loan of Rs 10 lakh would now be given. Action is being taken for this. Entrepreneurship is being promoted in every section of the state. After SC and ST, most backward, women and youth are also getting the benefits of the entrepreneur schemes. The state government has given the benefit of 596 crores in the entrepreneur scheme. Attempts were made even earlier to attract investors. Nobody came. The good news is that now investors are coming. The center is also helping. He gave full credit to Industries Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain.

Deputy Chief Minister Tar Kishore Prasad said that in Bihar, we have spent two lakh crore rupees on development. This time we will spend more. Bihar is on the way to self reliance. He said that the department will look into the matters of GST in this sector. Give necessary suggestions on real estate also. Referring to the Chanpatia model, Deputy Chief Minister Renu Devi said that it is a good thing that the laborer of Bihar is now becoming an entrepreneur himself. The security environment in Bihar has improved.

State Industries Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, who presided over the function, said that Bihar is the first state to give a grant of five thousand in the salary of skill labour. 100% exemption has been given in stamp duty and land conversion duty. He said that investors from many sectors want to come to Bihar. Films like Gangajal and Aapnaan are no longer made on Bihar. Now inspiring films like Super Thirty are made.
