High Court will hear on June 17 a public interest litigation seeking an NIA probe into the violent nuisance that took place after Friday prayers on June 10 in Ranchi's Main Road. The
High Court directed to list the matter for hearing. Earlier on Thursday, advocate Rajiv Kumar, on behalf of the applicant, made a special mention in the division bench of Chief Justice Dr. Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad for speedy hearing of the matter.

The petitioner Pankaj Kumar Yadav has filed a public interest litigation in the Jharkhand
High Court seeking a probe by the NIA into the Ranchi violence case. He has demanded an investigation by NIA, ED and Income Tax Department into the riots in Ranchi's Main Road on June 10. The applicant has also demanded an inquiry into the role of PFI in the matter. The applicant says that under a well-thought-out conspiracy, the incident of nuisance has been carried out in Ranchi. Mutual brotherhood has been attacked by spoiling the atmosphere of Ranchi.
Hemant Sarkar has constituted a two-member inquiry committee
Let us tell you that the Hemant Soren government has constituted a two-member committee for a high-level inquiry into the violence that took place on June 10 (Friday) in the Main Road of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. It includes Secretary Amitabh Kaushal and Additional Director General of Police Sanjay Latkar. They have been asked to investigate all the aspects and submit a report within a week. Internet was stalled due to Ranchi violence. Section 144 was imposed in 12 police stations of Ranchi. Many were injured in this case, while two have died. At present, Section 144 is applicable in 6 police station areas. Internet service was restored after 33 hours. At present the situation is normal.
