Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Uttarakhand today on a one-day visit. During this, PM Modi visited Adi Kailash and meditated sitting in Parvati Tal. After which he reached Gunji village. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Adi Kailash by helicopter this morning. The Prime Minister was welcomed by Army officials at the base camp. From the base camp, Prime Minister Modi reached the Shiva temple located at Parvati Sarovar by road. Here the people of the caste community welcomed the PM wearing traditional clothes.

PM Modi worshiped Lord Shiva by playing Damru

Local people greeted the PM near Panuvanaula intersection. The PM came out of his car and accepted the greetings of the people by waving towards the crowd. After which PM left for Jageshwar temple. Here he took the blessings of Lord Jagannath by performing puja as per rituals in Mahamrityunjaya and other temples. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, MP Ajay Tamta and others were present with him here. After worshiping at Jageshwar temple, the Prime Minister left for Pithoragarh, where he addressed the public meeting.
 
During this, PM Modi gifted development projects worth Rs 4200 crore. After laying the foundation stone and inauguration of the projects, PM addressed the people of Uttarakhand. While connecting with the people of the hills, the PM mentioned their connection with Uttarakhand. During this, PM Modi said that people of Uttarakhand often write letters to him.
