At the same time, on Friday the pollution index crossed 400 in two-thirds areas of Delhi. Whereas in Delhi-NCR, Faridabad and Delhi were the most polluted with AQI of 415. Which is 25 points more than Thursday. On Friday, pollution index was recorded at 401 in Ghaziabad, 365 in Greater Noida, 335 in Gurugram and 367 AQI in Noida. There is no possibility of Delhi getting relief from pollution till Monday. There may be light drizzle in some areas of Delhi on November 27, which is expected to provide some relief.
According to experts, the weather conditions remain unfavorable due to stubble burning in neighboring states and local reasons. The wind speed is quite low. At the same time, due to cold winds, pollution particles are not able to spread. This is the reason why a thick blanket of smog remained in the sky.
Minimum mercury remained two degrees less than normal
Due to winds blowing from the eastern direction in Delhi, the morning temperature fell two degrees below normal. It is estimated that the temperature may drop further on Saturday. According to the Regional Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 27 degrees on Friday. The minimum temperature was recorded at 9.4 degrees, which is two degrees less than normal. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light drizzle on November 27 due to seasonal changes. A slight drop in minimum and maximum temperatures is expected. It is expected that there will be fog in the morning till 30th November.
