Now this danger is walking close to their enclosure. Forest department officials have seen a leopard walking near the cheetah enclosure. He made a video of it. The leopard also walked in front of his vehicle fearlessly for about 10-15 minutes.

Tourists may not be able to see cheetahs in the new home of cheetahs i.e. Kuno Palpur National Sanctuary, other wildlife including leopards are often seen. Tourists are happy to see them. On Saturday evening, a leopard came in front of the vehicle of forest department officials. For about ten to fifteen minutes, this leopard kept walking on the unpaved path in front of the car with fearless steps. The forest department officials captured this sighting of the leopard in their cameras. However, the presence of this leopard has increased their tension. Leopard has been found near cheetah enclosures. It can also be a threat to cheetahs.

There are more than 150 leopards in the Kuno Park There are more than 150 leopards in the Kuno National Sanctuary. It is seen by tourists in different areas every day. There were also many leopards in the large enclosures where the cheetahs are to be released. Forest department officials took them out of there, then the cheetahs could be shifted. In such a situation, the hovering of leopards near the cheetah enclosure has become a matter of concern.

Why are cheetahs more at risk than leopards?

Actually, the jungles of Africa from where cheetahs have been brought, there is an abundance of leopards. They are used to co-living. But it is not so with the leopards here. They can attack and kill cheetahs. Because of this, leopards were being said to be a threat to cheetahs. Experts from Namibia have also said that with time things will improve and leopards will also accept cheetahs. However, cheetah cubs are said to be more at risk than leopard cubs.  adequate security arrangements

Forest Department officials claim that adequate arrangements have been made to protect the cheetahs. Fencing has been done in both their small and big enclosures. A mild current flows on it and this current keeps other wild animals away from the large enclosure. Because of this, cheetahs can be considered safe for the time being. Leopards are not currently in any big enclosure. Especially in the large enclosure where the two male cheetahs were released.
