The Finance Minister said that due to the efforts of the Central Government, the debt on the government is 56.9 percent of the GDP. According to IMF data, India is in a much better position than other countries where on average the debt on the government is 86.9 percent of GDP.
Indian economy showing positive signs
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the GST collection is more than 1.4 lakh crore rupees continuously for the last 5 months. The infrastructure sector grew in double digits in June. In June, the core sector registered a growth of 12.7 percent at an annual rate. Indian economy is showing very positive signs.
