Complete ban on single-use plastic
Single use plastic will be completely banned in Uttar Pradesh from July 1. This will also have a great impact on the everyday life of the people. Now on online orders, instead of plastic, there will be home delivery of food in paper bowls. If spoons made of wood and bamboo will be available instead of plastic, then the packaging of food will be made of PLA-coated polythene made from grains and plants. To stop the use of single-use plastic, the state government has started the Reduction Awareness Circular Solution and Mass Engagement (Race) for Single-use Plastic Free UP campaign from Wednesday.
LPG cylinder price reduced
Oil marketing companies have revised the price of gas cylinders from today. From July 1, there has been a big relief in the price of cylinders. Companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by about Rs 191.5. In UP, a 19 kg commercial cylinder now costs Rs 2130.50, up from Rs 2322 per cylinder last month.
Linking PAN with Aadhaar will attract a penalty
Apart from this, the government has already issued an alert regarding linking PAN with Aadhaar. 30th June was the last date for linking Aadhar PAN. If you have not linked PAN with Aadhaar till now, then from today i.e. July 1, 2022, if you link PAN with Aadhaar, then you will have to pay the fixed penalty for it.
Rules will change in UP schools from July 1
Changes are being made continuously in the upper primary and composite schools of the state, emphasis is being laid on equipping the schools with digital facilities. In this sequence, from July 1, there will be biometric attendance in schools. Children will be taught through speaker. Classes will be held from 7 to 1 pm. Apart from this, students without uniform will not be allowed to enter the school.
