The Los Angeles City Council agreed to include the proposal to grant the right to vote to non-citizens on the November 3 election ballot.
The measure is part of a package of proposals to modify the studies that will be proposed to voters in the general elections.
In a decisive 10 to 5 vote, City Council members on Wednesday approved a proposal presented by Councilman Hugo Soto-Martínez to implement non-citizen voting in city and Los Angeles Unified elections.
