Train Operations Adjusted Due to Non-Interlocking Work on Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur Line
Changes in train operations due to non-interlocking work on Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur railway line.
Due to non-interlocking work between Kumarbagh and Chanpatia on the Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur railway line, the operation of many trains has been modified. Additionally, three pairs of passenger trains have been cancelled. East Central Railway Hajipur has issued a letter regarding these changes.
Passenger Trains Cancelled Until June 16
All passenger trains running between Narkatiaganj and Muzaffarpur will remain cancelled until June 16. According to information from the department, train numbers 05257, 05258, 05259, 05260, 05209, and 15210 will not operate from June 6 to June 16. This cancellation is expected to cause inconvenience to passengers traveling on this route.
Short Termination of Intercity Express
The letter states that trains running between Narkatiaganj to Muzaffarpur and Patliputra will be operated after short termination. Specifically, train numbers 15201 and 15202, the Intercity Express trains running from Bagaha to Patliputra via Narkatiaganj and Bettiah, will run between Bettiah and Patliputra during this period. Similarly, train numbers 15215 and 15216 will operate between Muzaffarpur and Bettiah.
Diverted Train Routes
Several train routes have been diverted due to the non-interlocking work:
- Train numbers 12557 and 12558, the Sapt Kranti Superfast Express running between Muzaffarpur and Anand Vihar, have been diverted.
- Train numbers 12211, 12212, 15273, 15274, 19038, 19037, 19269, and 19270 express trains have also been diverted.
- The routes of nine pairs of express trains, including train numbers 05219, 09451, 22551, and 15052, have been changed to operate via the Sikta, Raxaul, and Sitamarhi rail sections instead of Narkatiaganj.
