Alfredo Adame launches harsh criticism against ICE and Donald Trump during chat with Adrian Marcelo
The first winner of 'La Granja VIP', Alfredo Adame, became Adrian Marcelo's latest guest. Adame addressed personal and international issues
Alfredo Adame returned to the center of controversy during his participation in a chat with Adrian Marcelo for YouTube, where he not only starred in controversial moments due to his personal actions and comments, but also addressed an issue of international scope: the treatment migrants receive in the United States from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Throughout the interview, the actor generated reactions for various episodes, including a new verbal attack against Andrea Legarreta, with whom he has had a rivalry for years. However, it was at the end of the conversation that Adame shifted the focus to a direct criticism of US immigration policies and President Donald Trump.
During the final segment of the segment “A Joint with…,” Adame described ICE's actions as “deplorable,” stating that, in his opinion, arrests are carried out violently and arbitrarily. “I believe that all human beings have the right to travel anywhere in the world,” he expressed.
What did he say about Donald Trump?
The actor also made strong statements against Donald Trump, whom he called a “dictator.” In that context, I have argued that if the US government's intention was to curb migration, it should be done so by closing the borders, not by resorting to operations against people already in the country. "If they're already inside, many of those they arrest have papers and everything; it's barbaric," he stated. Adame went further, comparing these actions to crimes against humanity, noting that separating families and arresting parents in front of their children constitutes an extreme act of violence. “For children to see their father being beaten… that goes from a simple crime to something much more serious,” he maintained during the talk. In his reflection, he recalled that since childhood he had been aware of the presence of Mexican workers in the United States, particularly in cities like Los Angeles, where, he mentioned, The Mexican population has grown considerably over the years.
For Adame, the current actions against migrants are incongruous and harmful to the country itself.
“I find what they are doing and how they are doing it barbaric,” he said, describing scenarios in which, according to him, agents act excessively when demanding documents and detaining people.
He even compared the situation to the film 'A Day Without Mexicans,' suggesting that the absence of this community would cause a collapse in the United States.
