Donald Trump Jr. calls Senator Ted Cruz a liar and accuses him of not being aligned with MAGA
Donald Trump Jr. intervened to stop Senator Ted Cruz and his comment that the nation's president is willing to finance Iran
Donald Trump Jr., son of the president of the nation, attacked Ted Cruz, considering that the senator from Texas lied by making baseless comments related to the content of the memorandum of understanding negotiated by the US government with the Islamic Republic to officially end the war.
"History teaches us that giving billions of dollars to theocratic lunatics who want to murder us is not a good idea. I think the president is receiving very bad advice about this agreement," said the legislator born in Calgary, Canada, in a statement issued to the newspaper The Hill before Donald Trump signed a document with 14 points aimed at establishing the bases for a definitive peace agreement.
The commitment includes a $300 billion fund to help rebuild Iran, but Trump assures that not a single government dollar will be allocated for that purpose.
Apparently, without it being made official yet, half of that money would come from contributions coming from American companies and the Gulf states, mainly.
Based on that information, the eldest son of the New York tycoon turned to platform
"The only problem with this quote is that @tedcruz is blatantly lying about the deal. We're not going to give them a dime and he knows it. Using fake news about the peace deal to undermine @realDonaldTrump is the opposite of MAGA," Trump Jr. wrote.
Questioned by his detractors, the president of the nation pointed out that the benefits of the memorandum of understanding signed in Versailles guarantee the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to navigation, thereby avoiding a greater oil shortage than that which was already beginning to be felt.
"There is no payment of $300 billion dollars to Iran by the United States. That is fake news! The only thing that matters to the United States is success, the drop in the price of oil and victory. Look at the stock market! Democratic propaganda in action!" wrote the US president on the Truth Social platform, supporting his son's version.
