Pachuca loosens the chains of Oussama Idrissi
The Moroccan striker is one of the most sought-after footballers in Liga MX. Pachuca would be willing to listen to offers for Idrissi
The Tuzos of Pachuca had a season full of instability. With a coaching change after the regular season, the Mexican team failed to reach the quarterfinals of the 2025 Apertura. The club may be in the midst of a restructuring, and part of it could involve the departure of one of its key players: Oussama Idrissi. The Moroccan striker was the main target of the "millionaires" of Mexican soccer for several seasons. Despite attempts to sign him, Pachuca managed to retain him on their roster. However, Oussama Idrissi could leave the club next season. According to reports from Raul Gonzalez of Minuto Final MX, Pachuca's management would be willing to listen to potential offers for the Moroccan player. "There is a high probability that Oussama Idrissi will leave Pachuca; both the management and the player are open to hearing proposals. So far, no team has formally approached them with an offer," the report explains. However, Ousama Idrissi's departure will not be cheap. The 29-year-old forward has a contract with Pachuca that expires in June 2028. The player, born in Bergen op Zoom, is valued at $7.5 million. This is a high value for an internal signing within Liga MX.
Idrissi in Mexico
Oussama Idrissi arrived in Mexican football in September 2023. The Moroccan footballer signed with Pachuca after having played in Spain with Sevilla and in the Netherlands with Feyenoord. Since his arrival, Idrissi has attracted the attention of the "big" clubs in Liga MX.
Wearing the Pachuca jersey, Oussama Idrissi has already played 89 matches. In just over 6,200 minutes on the field, Idrissi has scored 14 goals and provided 25 assists for the Mexican club.
