A Mexican market, beloved for its affordable prices, was destroyed by a suspected arson fire that occurred in the early hours of July 12 at a Sun Valley shopping center.
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) reported that the conflagration was reported at approximately 4:40 a.m. at the Plaza del Sol shopping center, in the 8500 block of North Sunland Boulevard.
In an alert, the LAFD said the first fire units to arrive on the scene found a large fire in a single-story structure, with flames shooting through the roof of the building.
