This Sunday at Dignity Health Sports Park, there was more at stake than third place in the Leagues Cup: a ticket to the Concacaf Champions Cup, better known as the Concachampions, and the LA Galaxy took both.

That hero appeared in the 67th minute, when Joseph Paintsil unleashed a shot from the edge of the penalty area to beat Pedro Gallese and give the Angels the lead again.

Orlando City tried until the last moment to recover and tie the game by defining from the penalty spot, however, they were unable to achieve their goal and the Galaxy were left with the coveted ticket to the regional tournament.
