Artificial intelligence technology continues to expand into new formats, and one of the most striking in recent days is a portable pendant from the company limitless.ai, which is designed to record conversations and generate personalized daily summaries.
Tech influencer Linus Ekenstam shared his experience with this device through his official X account (formerly Twitter), after testing it for 24 continuous hours.
According to Ekenstam, setting up the pendant is surprisingly simple. You just need to scan a QR code from the box, download an app, and pair the device. In less than two minutes, it was ready to work. He even added a sample of his voice so that artificial intelligence could identify him in each recorded conversation.
Increased memory at the touch of a button
The pendant is worn around the neck using a lanyard included in the box. Simply press a button for two seconds to start recording, and from that moment on, everything is recorded.
According to Ekenstam, who was part of one of the largest blackouts in the history of Spain, the device managed to capture more than eight hours of audio, functioning stably even without a mobile connection. Once 5G access was restored, the app began uploading data without a hitch.
Reviewing the files the next day, Ekenstam was impressed: he received a diary-style summary with precise details about his day. He also requested a section for personal improvement suggestions, receiving feedback focused on his role as a father, something he described as “creepy but deeply useful.”
Simple interface, efficient recording
The pendant records for up to 12 hours at a time and still had 23% battery left after a full day. In addition to offering summaries and analysis, it allows you to play back stored audio, create diary-style entries, and perform keyword searches.
Although the device’s marketing name was not revealed,Ekenstam speculated that similar products could be part of future developments from companies like OpenAI and Jonathan Ive, given the potential of this emerging category.
For the influencer, the verdict is clear: “After 24 hours with this pendant, I can’t imagine being without it.”
