All this, in a device that can weigh just 1.3 kilograms and be only 14 millimeters thick.

To put it in perspective, the 14-inch MacBook Pro is 15 millimeters thick and weighs 1.55 kg. The new laptops with RTX Spark, then, could be thinner and lighter than a MacBook Pro, but with the graphics power of an RTX 5070 for laptops built into the same chip.

The battle for laptops is getting more interesting than ever

Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra and the Dell XPS 16 will also be among the first to arrive with this chip, suggesting that the world's largest manufacturers have already bet heavily on this platform.

More than 100 Windows software vendors have already confirmed support for RTX Spark, including Adobe, Blackmagic Design, Blender, CapCut, Riot Games and Xbox. That the application ecosystem is ready from the beginning is precisely what was missing from other previous attempts to bring Windows to ARM en masse. This time the story seems different.
