A former United States Postal Service (USPS) worker in Los Angeles Angeles stole checks, credit and debit cards from the mail to live a life of luxury, purchasing high-end items and paying for expensive vacations, which she boasted about on social media, authorities said.
In a news release, the U.S. Department of Justice said Mary Ann Magdamit, 31, of Carson, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California.
The former postal worker has been in federal custody since July 1 after working at the Torrance Main Post Office.
