Police confirmed that the two suspects, both teenagers, died from apparent self-inflicted wounds. Possible hate crime investigated
A shooting on Monday at the Islamic Center of San Diego, the county's largest mosque, left at least three people dead and prompted a massive police mobilization in the Clairemont neighborhood.
The fatal victims are three adult men, including a security guard and two members of the staff of the Islamic school that operates within the religious complex, San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl reported at a press conference.
The two suspects in the attack, preliminarily identified as teenagers ages 17 and 19, died from apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
