Border czar warns Virginia governor that he will flood the streets with ICE agents
Border czar admits disappointment with Virginia governor for changing plans and now refusing to cooperate with ICE
Following Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger's refusal to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to detain undocumented immigrants, Border czar Tom Homan He warned her that thousands nothing would prevent him from fulfilling his mission entrusted to him by President Donald Trump, and that of border agents would soon be deployed to various cities. The 64-year-old former police officer promised to dedicate more resources to Virginia after the Democratic governor signed an executive order eliminating the requirement to cooperate with ICE. Under this approach, Homan intends to replicate strategies already proven successful in places like New York, California, Oregon, and Illinois, where thousands of immigrants considered dangerous to other citizens have already been returned to their countries of origin. "I said it from day one: the thousands of agents we are bringing in are going to flood the sanctuary cities. We have to do it because you created a problem when you launched threats to public safety on the streets," he stated during his appearance on the Ruthless podcast. The border czar acknowledged being disappointed by what, in his view, was a double standard employed by the former intelligence officer. Abigail Spanberger only to get the citizens' votes and become governor.
“I remember her campaign ads. 'I'm a law enforcement officer. I rescued children from sex trafficking.' I've seen the ads. She stopped being a law enforcement officer and became a politician. Where are all those commercials she did about supporting law enforcement officers?” he emphasized.
It should be noted that Spanberger is the first female governor in Virginia's history, and for most of her campaign, she indicated her willingness to cooperate with ICE.
Now, with her surprising change of position, she seems to have earned the repudiation of Tom Homan, who anticipates a grueling clash with the person responsible for what happens in Virginia.
“I hope we can work together, but this doesn't look good. They're not going to stop us. They can stand on the sidelines and watch. Shame on them, but they're not going to stop us from completing this mission!” I have warned.
