A child discovered a rattlesnake inside a children's playhouse at a daycare center in a neighborhood in Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County.
According to local rattlesnake management expert Cary Quashen, the incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. on June 11 at a daycare center in the Saugus neighborhood.
Quashen said the boy alerted a teacher after discovering the snake's presence in the playground, which helped prevent a potentially dangerous situation for the children.
