Sandi Mendoza, 27, a resident of Lake Los Angeles, had a plan to have a natural birth with all the medical attention at a hospital, but her daughter was finally born on the morning of Saturday, September 13, on the floor of a van.
The Hispanic woman, now a mother of three, mentioned that she had been experiencing labor symptoms for several hours at her parents' home in Palmdale, waiting as long as possible before going to the hospital.
