Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath held a virtual meeting to review development projects, law and order, and preparations for upcoming festivals. Key officials, including Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and DGP Prashant Kumar, participated in the meeting.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a comprehensive virtual meeting on Monday, focusing on key issues of development projects, law and order, and preparations for upcoming festivals across Uttar Pradesh. The meeting was attended by top officials from various departments, including Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar, Additional Director General (ADG) Law and Order Amitabh Yash, and Principal Secretary Sanjay Prasad, along with district-level officers from across the state.

Focus on Development and Infrastructure Projects

During the meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects in the state, emphasizing the need for timely completion. He urged officials to ensure that critical infrastructure projects, including road construction, housing, and urban development initiatives, are completed before the festival season to minimize public inconvenience. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of quality control and timely execution, stressing that any delays would not be tolerated.

Yogi Adityanath also directed district officials to maintain close coordination with the Public Works Department (PWD) and other relevant agencies to fast-track pending projects. He reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing the state’s infrastructure to support economic growth and improve public services.

Strengthening Law and Order Across the State

The Chief Minister also reviewed the law and order situation, with a focus on maintaining peace and security during the upcoming festive season. CM Yogi Adityanath instructed law enforcement agencies to enhance security measures, especially in areas that could become congested during festivals. He emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of citizens and preventing any untoward incidents.

DGP Prashant Kumar provided an update on the current security arrangements and assured the Chief Minister that the police force is on high alert. ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash outlined the deployment strategy for police personnel during the festive season, including increased patrolling in sensitive areas, installation of CCTV cameras, and ensuring rapid response teams are ready for emergencies.

Preparations for Upcoming Festivals

In light of the upcoming festivals, including Diwali and Chhath Puja, CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of ensuring that all necessary preparations are in place to facilitate smooth celebrations across the state. He asked officials to coordinate with local authorities, event organizers, and religious groups to ensure peaceful and orderly festivities.

The Chief Minister urged officials to remain vigilant and maintain cleanliness in public spaces, particularly in areas that attract large gatherings during the festivals. He also emphasized the need to ensure proper waste management and sanitation to prevent any health hazards.
