Karol G will be honored at the AMA's 2026
The singer of “Provenza” and “TUSA” remains strong on the international scene and proof of this is the tribute she will receive during the 2026 American Music Awards gala, which will take place on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
According to a statement from CBS and Dick Clark Productions, the Grammy winner has received this award for her music and cultural influence worldwide, inspiring and impacting audiences of all ages.
Among the achievements that support her impact, the organizers highlighted: "More than 128 billion streams and 310 Platinum Certifications. She is the first woman to debut an album in Spanish at number 1 on the Billboard 200," describes the announcement placed from Instagram.
The presentation of said award will not be the only moment in which Karol G takes the stage at the AMA's 2026, as it was confirmed that he will star in a live performance as a prelude to the next start of his tour “Travelling around the World Tropitour”.
