Despite the constant estrangements and recent public tensions that have marked their relationship, Emiliano Aguilar surprised by openly expressing his desire to reunite with his father, the renowned ranchera music performer Pepe Aguilar.

In a recent interview for the program “Venga la Alegría”, the 33-year-old singer made it clear that the possibility of a family hug is still latent. “The only person I am going to reconcile with is my 'dad',” he stated sincerely, clarifying that this rapprochement will not happen immediately.

The main reason for the postponement is Emiliano's pride and professional independence. Currently based in Tijuana and focused on his musical proposal, the young man seeks to distance himself from the renown of his last name.

"Obviously I would like to at some point. Not right now, because right now I'm making my own path. I don't want my dad to help me get up, for me to arrive and say: 'I could do it on my own,'" he explained firmly.

Despite the friction of the past - such as Emiliano's annoyance when his father revealed the existence of his two daughters to the media - the first-born did not hesitate to defend Pepe Aguilar from criticism on social networks. He assured that the public wrongly judges him without knowing him, defining him as a good person.

However, this air of family truce does not extend to all members of the clan. When asked about his siblings Aneliz, Leonardo and Ángela Aguilar, Emiliano was blunt and drew a definitive line.
