More than two decades after the launch of the first Cayenne, Porsche takes a bold step toward full electrification with the new 2026 Cayenne Electric. This SUV not only retains the brand's high-performance spirit but also sets a new benchmark in technology and power.

With the Cayenne Electric, Porsche seeks to merge its performance heritage with sustainable mobility solutions. The model becomes the brand's most powerful electric SUV, offering acceleration figures that defy all expectations in its segment: 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 162 mph.

Extreme performance: two versions for all profiles

The initial range includes two versions: Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric, both with all-wheel drive and the advanced ePTM electronic traction management system. The Turbo version boasts an impressive 1,139 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque, utilizing Launch Control for unparalleled performance. It also features Push-to-Pass, allowing the driver to activate an additional 174 horsepower for 10 seconds, ideal for overtaking or sporty driving. Meanwhile, the base version offers 435 horsepower, similar to the gasoline-powered Cayenne S, providing a more relaxed yet powerful driving experience. Technology and range: a high-performance battery. The 2026 Cayenne Electric is equipped with a 113 kWh battery with dual-sided cooling and an 800-volt architecture, enabling fast charging from 10% to 80% in under 16 minutes with DC fast charging at up to 390-400 kW.The total range reaches 400 miles on a single charge, a remarkable achievement for an SUV of this performance.

Porsche also introduces wireless inductive charging of up to 11 kW via the Porsche Wireless Charging system, available exclusively for the Cayenne Electric. This innovation simplifies the charging experience and demonstrates the brand's commitment to advanced mobility solutions.

Dynamics and comfort: stable and safe handling

The Cayenne Electric combines power with control. It debuts adaptive air suspension with standard PASM and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) in the Turbo version, improving stability in corners and under braking.

Rear-axle steering allows for a turning radius of up to five degrees, while Porsche Active Ride reduces body roll for more comfortable and safer handling.

Aerodynamics have also been optimized: a drag coefficient of just 0.25 makes the Cayenne Electric one of the most efficient SUVs in its segment. Cooling fins and an adjustable rear spoiler help reduce energy consumption at high speeds.

Design and interior: elegant and functional

The Cayenne Electric maintains a recognizable design, albeit with clever modifications. It's five inches longer and has a 2.5-inch longer wheelbase, offering more interior space without sacrificing aerodynamic aesthetics.

Stylish LED headlights and frameless doors improve visibility and the SUV's visual clarity, while the illuminated logo and rear LED light bar add a modern touch.

The interior is described by Porsche as the most modern to date: almost every element is customizable. It includes a 14.25-inch curved OLED Flow Display center console, an optional 14.9-inch passenger display, and a Head-Up Display (HUD) with augmented reality. Ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof with variable light control, and the Porsche Digital Interaction system allow you to configure lighting, sound, seating position, and climate control according to the driver's mood.

The Porsche Cayenne Electric has a starting price of $111,350 for the base model, while the Turbo version reaches $165,350.
