Country's big industrialist Cyrus Mistry died in a road accident. This information is coming from PTI. There were four people in the car. Apart from Cyrus Mistry, one more person died in the accident. It is being told that the accident happened near Palghar in Mumbai.

The accident took place when Mistry's car collided with a divider in Palghar district, adjoining Mumbai, a police official said. At that time Mistry was returning from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in a Mercedes car. The accident happened around 3.15 pm, the police officer said. Mistry was going from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. The accident happened on the bridge over the Surya river. Looks like it's an accident.

It is being told that apart from Cyrus Mistry, three other people were in the car. In which apart from Cyrus Mistry, one more person died on the spot. Two other people traveling with Mistry were injured in this accident, including the driver of the car. All the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Gujarat. According to the police officer, efforts will be made to gather more information about the accident from the injured. An official of the Kasa police station said that the accident took place at Charoti Naka on the Surya river bridge in the Kasa police station area. Mistry's body has been sent to Casa Rural Hospital for postmortem.

Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis asked the police to conduct a detailed inquiry into the road accident in which Cyrus Mistry died. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted on the death of Cyrus Mistry. He wrote, shocked and deeply saddened, spoke to the DGP and instructed for a detailed investigation.
