Electrification continues to gain ground at Jeep and the Compass has become one of the most important pieces of that strategy.

The evolution of the model is not coincidental. Jeep seeks to maintain the relevance of one of its most successful vehicles in a segment where competition is increasingly intense. Among the rivals it has in its sights is the Toyota RAV4, a global reference within the family SUV category.
A more capable battery to travel more kilometers
The main novelty is the arrival of the Full Electric Long Range version. This Compass incorporates a 231 HP electric motor and relies on a new generation battery designed to maximize efficiency.
The energy package has a net capacity of 96.3 kWh and is made up of 192 cells distributed in 12 modules. Thanks to this configuration, the SUV achieves an approved range of up to 674 kilometers under the WLTP cycle.
Another highlight is the reload speed. Jeep claims it can recover 20 to 80% of the battery in just 27 minutes when connected to a suitable fast charger.
More power and all-wheel drive for the Compass 4xe
Along with the long-range version, the firm also presented the all-electric Compass 4xe. In this case, the configuration includes two motors, one on each axle, which allows permanent all-wheel drive.
The combined power reaches 375 HP, while the battery maintains a similar capacity, with 96.1 kWh net. The autonomy exceeds 600 kilometers and the recharge times are still 27 minutes to go from 20 to 80%.
The 4xe surname is not just a question of power. Jeep has worked to ensure that this version preserves the adventurous DNA that characterizes the brand.
The suspension raises ground clearance by 10 millimeters and improves off-road capabilities. It also has specific angles to face more demanding obstacles and can cross areas with water up to 480 millimeters deep.
Added to this are elements designed to withstand more intense use, such as bumpers with reinforced protection and the Selec-Terrain system, which incorporates several driving programs adapted to different types of surface.
A more resistant interior
The practical philosophy is also transferred to the cabin. The seats use a polyurethane coating that is more resistant to wear and easier to clean than conventional upholstery.
In addition, the rear backrests incorporate anti-scratch surfaces and the floor is protected by rubber mats, solutions designed for those who use the vehicle for outdoor activities or demanding journeys.
