There was a clash on Sunday between two student organizations protesting against the division of Kashi Hindu University campus. There was a huge ruckus between the students of ABVP and AISA organization. It is being told that meanwhile, the police has detained a research scholar and taken him to Lanka police station.

It is reported that on Sunday, outside goons from AISA and BSM (Bhagat Singh Chhatra Morcha) raised anti-Hindutva slogans in the campus and tried to spread anarchy by assaulting the students. The ABVP girl students who were protesting against this were also attacked, causing serious injuries to them.
