Entrepreneurs of Biada supply goods on time with good quality at reasonable price
Shri Prakash said that if the entrepreneurs of Biyada supply goods on time with good quality at reasonable prices, then BSL will not face any problem in getting the goods from them. Entrepreneurs come forward, BSL is ready to take goods from them. For this, whatever facility and help they need from BSL, it will be provided. Said that during the Corona period, BSL has set an example by supplying oxygen to many states including Jharkhand-Bihar through road and rail. In this, Team BSL acted intelligently, showing solidarity. The management is conscious about the safety of the contract workers along with the workers in the plant. Tender has been given to Tata's company for 2 years to develop a safety work culture. It is named 'Kavach'.

He said that work is being done by preparing a road map for the improvement of quarters, roads, electricity, water etc. in the sectors of Bokaro. Some work has started to be seen in this. It will improve even more in the coming time. 30 playgrounds are being developed in 10 sectors of Bokaro. The leveling work of the playing field has been completed. According to the demand of the residents of the local sector in different sectors, sports facilities will be made available in the field. Also, it will be operated by the people of the same sector. Said on the closed school building of BSL that at one time there used to be 42 schools of BSL. At that time the number of personnel was more than 50,000. There were no other schools here then. Today the workforce is about 10,000. The number of private schools has increased. There are dozens of schools.

In BSL schools, only two per cent of the children of the personnel study, the remaining 98 per cent of the children are studying in private schools. In the coming time, BSL will close seven out of nine schools, only two schools will be operated by the management. At present, free education is being provided to girl students in all the schools run by BSL. Two schools are being operated under CSR, in which children are provided free education along with book copy and dress.
Other problems of BGH including doctors and nurses will be resolved soon
Shri Prakash said that Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) is an important hospital not only in Bokaro but also in eastern India. The problems of BGH are being addressed. Some machines have come new in the hospital. Some machines have been ordered. There is a shortage of doctors and nurses. For this, advertisements are being given continuously. Being a small town and lack of connectivity (airport), specialist doctors do not want to come to Bokaro. The wages of contract doctors with permanent doctors have also been revised so that doctors can be stopped and new doctors can come. Online facility is being made available in BGH on the lines of AIIMS. Under this, you will not have to stand in a queue to see a doctor, get any kind of test done, take the test report, take medicine etc., but everything will be done online. Its results will be visible in the next six months.
The discussion on the Industrial Corridor is still going on
He said that the discussion on the Industrial Corridor is still going on, no decision of any kind has been taken. For this, a team of Center, State and BSL has been formed. The team has seen land in Bokaro and Garhwa. The team will decide which place will prove useful for this. There is a BSL mine in Garhwa, which is no longer in use. It is very important for any organization to have a good work culture. In BSL, work is being done for this in a phased manner. Very soon the difference in work culture will be visible. Management expects cooperation from the administration.

The contractor who has been given the work of repairing the road has been given the responsibility of five years. It has been said that if the road deteriorates within these five years, then that contractor will have to repair it again. To check all kinds of work, separate teams have been formed comprising officials from inside and outside the plant. This team checks the work from time to time. If the quality is found to be lacking. So it is done again. Said that very soon new animals will come in the biological park. The biological park will be rejuvenated. The team is working for this. Professional advice is also being sought.
