A couple starred in an unusual episode in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, when they were caught on security cameras having sex in the Mon Cheri restaurant before allegedly robbing the establishment, local police reported.
Corrisa Sucanick, 30, and Brian Morrow, 39, were They were charged with third-degree robbery after breaking into the bistro around 3:50 am on October 25, fleeing with $450 in cash, an iPhone 5, and a bottle of Bacardi rum, according to ABC15 Arizona. A robbery among roses and surveillance cameras: The cameras showed the couple engaged in a sexual act among the floral decorations on the restaurant's patio before forcing their way inside. Owner Lexi Caliskan told the outlet, "They got caught up in the moment. There are roses everywhere. Maybe it was romantic, but in a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde style." The restaurant released the surveillance video on social media, asking for the community's help in identifying the perpetrators. Thanks to the tips received, authorities arrested Sucanick on November 3 and Morrow the following day at a Phoenix hotel.
Charges and Arrest
In addition to the robbery, both face charges for possession of burglary tools. However, Scottsdale police clarified that they will not be charged with any offenses related to the sexual act prior to the robbery, as it “does not meet the criteria for criminal charges.”
Both were booked into the Maricopa County Jail and are awaiting their court appearance.
