Authorities arrested a Hispanic man for allegedly biting an officer and discharging an officer's gun after breaking into the lobby of the Fountain Valley Police Department in Orange County.
Walter Corea Sanchez, 29, a resident of Fountain Valley, was identified as a suspect in the assault against the officer, According to a press release from the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 a.m. on December 19, when Sanchez entered the lobby and, according to reports, began yelling and acting erratically when officers attempted to communicate with him.
