ICE arrests 11 people, including three mariachis, in California

At least 11 people, including three members of a mariachi group, were arrested on Sunday, June 21, during a raid by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during Father's Day celebrations in Santa Barbara.
According to the newspaper “Santa Barbara Independent”, the operation occurred before 7:00 a.m. in western and eastern neighborhoods of the city, where the presence of seven vehicles believed to be occupied by federal ICE agents was observed.
Activists of S.B. Resiste, one of several organizations that monitor the activity of federal immigration agents throughout the region, reported that between nine and eleven people were arrested during Sunday's operations.
