A Hispanic man faces more than a dozen charges after allegedly stealing a car at knifepoint, intentionally running over 10 people and causing a police chase in the Culver City neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Juan Luis Estrada, 45, of Perris, Riverside County, was charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for the alleged crimes he committed last week in Culver City.
Prosecutors charged Estrada with 10 counts of attempted murder, one count of vehicle theft and one count of evading a peace officer causing bodily injury.
