A petition has been filed in the High Court against the wrong portrayal of Hindu deities Ram, Sita, Hanuman and Ravana in the film Adipurush. In the petition, till the removal of the disputed scene, it has been demanded not to display it in cinema halls and not to give it a certificate from the censor board.

This petition has been filed by Vishnu Gupta, National President of Hindu Sena. He has said in his petition that the idols of Hindus have been shown in a controversial manner in the film.
