Belinda reacts to the ‘sold-out’ Cazzu’s performance at Mexico’s National Auditorium
The singer showered the Argentine with praise and celebrated her success in Mexico despite the controversy she experienced over her breakup with Christian Nodal
Amidst the furor generated by the release of her new studio album, singer Belinda took the time to congratulate her Argentine colleague Cazzu for her recent sell-out for two dates at the renowned National Auditorium. What did she say? We'll tell you here.
It was during her arrival at the exclusive party for the release of her album "Indomita" that the artist couldn't avoid questions regarding the recent visit of the so-called 'Jefa' to Mexican territory. Against all odds, she decided to speak out about the matter and shower her with praise for the achievement in her musical career by securing another date at the iconic venue.
“I love that she sold out her national auditoriums and how great. I feel very happy that in Mexico they receive her with so much love because she deserves it,” Belinda declared to the press upon her arrival at the event.
With these statements, the naturalized Mexican not only makes it clear that the alleged rivalry between the two singers is nonexistent. It also fuels rumors about a possible collaboration that has already been widely discussed on social media.
Entertainment journalist Javier Ceriani recently reported that Belinda's brother had met with the Argentine during her stay in Mexico to seal an alleged agreement that would bind them together professionally.
"Nacho Peregrín, Belinda's brother, had reportedly joined Universal Music accompanied by a producer, with the details and conditions to finalize the collaboration between Cazzu and Belinda," the journalist indicated.
According to Ceriani, this collaboration could mean an appearance on stage at either the National Auditorium or some venue in Argentina: "He arrived with a producer, with an agreement under his arm. They saw him enter Universal Music to generate the agreement, the details and conditions of the collaboration that Belinda will do with the Argentine Cazzu. A possible duet at the Auditorium or at Belinda's next concert," he noted.
Despite the wave of opinions that this topic has generated,Christian Nodal's ex-partner and mother of little Inti has decided to keep a low profile and not comment on the matter.
