A constant tribute to Mexico
During their three concerts, BTS paid a deep tribute to Mexican culture. According to videos disseminated on social networks, the members addressed the public in Spanish and used local idioms.
In fact, one of the most viral moments was when thousands of attendees chanted: “J-Hope, brother, you are Mexican.”
However, the closing on Sunday May 10 had an even special flavor. In Mother's Day, V took the microphone to dedicate a message that moved to all: “By the way, today is Mothers Day. Thank you for having created us, congratulations, moms! We love you. Mexico, it was a great luck to be here with you.”
SUGA, for his part, acknowledged from the stage the thousands of people who were following the concert from the outskirts:
"I've heard that outside, just like in here, there are a lot of ARMY fans present." Is there, by chance, an even bigger stadium here in Mexico? So, next time we come, we have to show up at that place! SUGA
economic impact
The BTS phenomenon, without a doubt, also transcended the cultural. According to the National Chamber of Commerce, the estimated impact of the three functions exceeds 1.8 60 million Mexican pesos (approximately $110 million), benefitting sectors such as lodging, transportation, food, beverages and specialized services.
For each peso invested in tickets, 3.34 additional pesos were generated in economic activity, reflecting the multiplier power of this type of events.
This success happens in a context of explosive growth: in 2025, the live entertainment sector in Mexico generated an impact of almost 69 billion million pesos, positioning the country as the third live music market in the world, only behind the United States and the United Kingdom.
In addition, president Claudia Sheinbaum confirmed that BTS has the doors open to return in 2027, even in the venue or that they elect, after they held a meeting and thousands of people gathered in front of the balcony of the National Palace.
With three fully full nights, attendance records inside and outside the stadium, an unmatched emotional connection and the confirmation Since Mexico is already one of the most important stops in their career, BTS said goodbye to the Mexican ARMY with an emotional “see you soon”.
