Belinda revives rumors of collaboration with Cazzu: “I identify with her a lot”
The Mexican star expressed her admiration for the talent of the Argentine rapper and said she felt identified with her avant-garde musical style.
The possibility of a musical collaboration between Belinda and Cazzu has reignited social media. In a recent interview with the Argentine media TN, the “Cactus” singer opened her heart regarding the Argentine music scene, especially highlighting her respect for “La Jefa.”
"I love that she is different, she mixes a lot of different genres and she is not afraid to take risks; I identify with her a lot in that sense," Belinda confessed when asked about the trap.
With these statements, the Mexican not only praised Cazzu's versatility, but also left the door open to a joint project. “Of course, if I ever have the opportunity to work with her, I would love to,” he said.
Beyond the media morbidity that usually surrounds them due to their romantic past in common with the Mexican regional singer Christian Nodal, both artists have demonstrated maturity and sisterhood between them.
Far from fueling rivalries imposed by the public, they have chosen to build a bond based on mutual respect since their first face-to-face meeting at the end of last year.
During the conversation, Belinda also declared herself a faithful follower of Argentine culture and music, mentioning her admiration for figures such as Gustavo Cerati, Bizarrap, Emilia Mernes and the group Babasónico.
The audience of both performers remains expectant. Although for now there is no confirmed collaboration, Belinda's statements reaffirm that the artistic chemistry is ready and that a fusion between Mexican pop and Argentine trap could become one of the musical events of the year.
