“Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper announces she is pregnant
Cooper, also founder of Unwell Network, shared the news with her followers through her social networks.
The renowned host of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and founder of Unwell Network, Alex Cooper, 31, shared with her followers that she and her husband, Matt Kaplan, are expecting their first child together.
Cooper revealed the news this Sunday via his social media, starting with a subtle hint on his Instagram stories. “Daddy, there is something I have been wanting to share with you.”
She then posted two images in which she appears sitting on Kaplan's lap, smiling and laughing while caressing her budding belly. The photographs were accompanied by the caption: “Our family.”
In another post, the content creator joked about how difficult it had been to keep the secret: “I'm honestly happy I can stop trying to hide my belly lol.”
On the relationship between Cooper and Kaplan
Cooper and Kaplan, 42, began their romance in the summer of 2020, after meeting professionally. The couple sealed their love in an intimate beach ceremony, held in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, in April 2024.
Despite having remained silent during the first months of pregnancy, Cooper has always been open about her desire to start a family. In an emotional 2025 episode of “Call Her Daddy,” titled “I’m Not Ready for a Baby,” she revealed that she and Kaplan decided to start trying to conceive in 2024. “We were so excited and ready,” she confessed to her listeners.
However, the process was not easy. Cooper reported that she suffered “extreme vertigo and dizziness” when stopping the contraceptives, which led the couple to temporarily stop the pregnancy attempt. In addition, he acknowledged that he did not want to stop a successful and busy moment in his professional career.
Alex Cooper has established herself as one of the most influential figures in digital entertainment thanks to “Call Her Daddy,” a podcast that completely transformed the conversation about female sexuality, modern relationships, and pop culture.
His definitive leap to global fame was sealed with multimillion-dollar exclusive distribution contracts, first with Spotify and more recently with SiriusXM, and his transition to a high-profile interview format, where his style has made everyone from Hollywood stars to leading political figures choose his space to reveal their most vulnerable side.
