Marvel and Sony Pictures have made the unimaginable possible: Tom Holland and Lionel Messi together in a fun video celebrating the upcoming release of the film “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

A new promotional for the production was released through YouTube, X and Instagram, marking the return of the British actor as the arachnid superhero. However, the detail that blew the public's mind was the luxury guest who appeared before the cameras.

The clip in question shows “Peter Parker” trying to go unnoticed in a cafeteria, when suddenly, Lionel Messi appears trying to find Spider-Man through the so-called “Spidey Tracker”, an application launched a few weeks ago that allows fans to interact with the cast during their global promotional tour.

Upon realizing this, Tom Holland approaches the footballer and questions him: “Are you Messi?” After getting confirmation, the Brit uses his knowledge of Spanish to tell him, “Wait here,” and then disappears to surprise him.

This is how, seconds later, the famous man returns dressed in the iconic Spider-Man suit to surprise Lionel Messi with a tour of New York while they swing through the city's buildings.

This collaboration did not go unnoticed among the public who are eagerly awaiting the next release of the film “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, scheduled for July 29 in Mexico and 2 days later globally.
