Gilberto Mora faced England and played with personality
The young Gilberto Mora jumped onto the field without any fear, without complexes and with a strong mentality.
From the opening whistle with his number 19, he began to float in the opponent's three-quarters of the field, looking to be found by his teammates.
He showed himself to receive from his back and retain or touch first. On occasions after receiving he turned well to look for spaces and filter poisonous deep balls. In the first half of the game he had already accumulated 17 successful passes and only missed one.
Mora's restlessness bothered the visitors especially when the Chiapas player teamed up with his forwards and midfielders to triangulate and create one-two plays, in one of which he shot at goal.
In the clash plays Mora did struggle and even committed fouls in his attempt to steal balls from the exit of the England defenders.
He took a corner kick that went wide without causing any danger.
At the start of the second half, Mexico was surprised by an England team that came out to propose the match. Seeing the match very compromised, the Mexico coach decided to take out Mora and put in a bigger player looking to have more strength in the attack playing with two nines. The night for the young Mora ended but with an acceptable performance. Surely the experience will help you continue growing.
